There are also all kinds of door and other alarms. But the actual solution you need to work on is to get a sufficient understanding with the other roomers that you feel comfortable there.

And you appear to have a reasonable deal. So you probably should attempt to make it work. That means you get hold of the other roomers and make it clear they will have to answer to you or the police if they ever set foot in your room again. And try and keep it civil while making it clear you will beat the shi* out of them with a baseball bat if you ever catch them in your room . This it the classic civil dichotomy. I want to be friends but I will beat you to a pulp if you do not respect my space.

It seems that your landlord does not care who they rent to. If I were you, I would be actively looking for a different place to live. Closer to the bus line from where you are now, preferably your own place. A studio apt could work. Or a casita, some have a separate small bedroom included. Many people rent theirs out, and you don't have to worry about a bunch of strange roommates getting into your room while you are gone. Join the nextdoor.com site for your area, and look at other area's message boards for people posting their casita's for rent, etc. Good luck!

Twice I shared a house with roommates. The second was OK, he had done it before and was experienced in space sharing and respecting my space. The first time lasted only 5 months. They said that they wanted to make a go of it but were always unavailable for a real discussion. When I did begin looking for another place, I discovered that they were going through my mail. A manager of an apt. sent me an application which I never received. They just tossed it. They could have done a lot worse. Be careful about all your identity related papers, computers, etc. Best of luck.

I agree, reasonable bus commute to work with some walking involved. When its over 100 degrees, I just take
an Uber home from that 7-11 at LV Blvd and Craig. Only problem is waiting for Uber and getting hit up for money, cigarettes and last week a guy asked to use my phone. That wasn't going to happen obviously.

I am not risking another fine for giving out dollar bills especially after the hefty fine in June.
Does anyone know the fine in North LV for giving money to homeless people? I have been saying no to money requests ever since I was scammed for money by the two dubious roommates.

I pay 675.00 with utilities included and it is basically like a small studio apartment and the area is not bad.

I have to agree with you on this one. Last weekend I lost my temper and raised my voice and it almost became physical. I would have lost the fight, both of us in jail, and my job at the base gone.

It was so bad that I get a text from the owner warning me that if there are any further incidents I will be given 30 days to leave.

This type of situation is one of the reasons I don't live paycheck to paycheck anymore.

Also, I am 100 percent sure the tub did not turn itself on magically. It was a retaliatory act for the sparring that occurred a day before. I had to leave work early because I was so upset and then was an hour late the next morning.

Send a text to the owner stating that after you leave, you will notify the city, county, and hoa that rooms are being rented out which would be against code. A ton of people do it, but Iím not sure of the actual legality of it
