Would be interested if someone had a recommendation for furniture.

There is actually some feedback from renters that lived in those apts before. One said, do not go into the parking lot at night, because you may get hit by a bullet. Others complained that the apt managing service does not fix things in a timely manner like washing machines that don't work, or they turn off the water for a week at a time. Not sure if this is accurate or not, but, I guess you will be figuring this out. Invest in sturdier locks and don't get a ground floor apt if possible. And do not sign a long lease in case you really hate it. Also, I heard you can rent a room at the Cannery by the month. Check into that if this doesn't work out. You can also rent furniture.

Sites to checkfor feedback on the apts: apartmentratings.com, apartments.com. And yelp.com. A lot of bad reviews with one good one.

Even in the undesirable areas, the apartments are usually over 800.00.

Can someone tell me which provider is best for just Wi-Fi. No other bundled services needed.

This will be about 700 square feet for 870.00.

Unfortunately I did not have time to go through that process with a clear head.

That actually sounds reasonable. The problem is once someone like that roommate knows he got under my skin, he would have been relentless. Eventually, I would have popped him in his lip and then I go to jail and have no job.

I had to act fast and impetuously.

The thing is if I went by theses reviews, I would have been discouraged from making any changes.

People who are happy do not typically write reviews, so you end up with a lot of bad reviews.

Did u move out? Did he know that you are gonna move?

I'm just curious to know why does he want you to move to a room downstairs?

He was being lied to by the suspect who was jealous of me having the master.

They told them I left the bathtub on, and then told them that I was smoking in the room.

Neither were true. I had to get away from this scumbag before I gave in and got physical with him.

They know my plans. In the meantime I am safely nestled away in a forgotten little nook in the farthest reaches of the NE part of town.

That is somewhat true I guess. I remember when i wrote my review of my old apartments where everyone else had a bad review. I gave them 4 stars, where everyone else gave them 1 star. They were good enough apartments and very spacious for the price. Good layout. I guess it all depends on your neighbors, where the apt is located on the premises, if you have loud neighbors upstairs or downstairs, dogs barking continually, thumping bass from knuckleheads, etc.

Keep in mind that Yelp is also know to shake down businesses and will hide the better reviews if they refuse to pay for advertising.

Very old reviews do not really apply since the management team there was not there when some of the older reviews were written.

Take it from me, a real complainer and worrier, some of the reviews were subjective. Renting sight unseen is not ideal, but the apartments were being taken fast. With the amount of money that I spent in July at the casinos, I could have furnished that whole place. I should have 40k right now instead of 30k.

Knowing I could pay all 12 months right now gives me peace of mind. That place has 336 units. Kind of reminds me of a siegel suites but I am sure it is much better than that. Siegel preys upon people struggling with employment and bad credit IMHO.

Actually if I had come on city data in April of 2018, people here would have said don't come here without a job or car and 7K would have not been enough to relocate with no job or car.

Fortune favors the brave.

Yup. That’s not even just conspiracy haha they did it to us too! There were several reviews that weren’t whatsoever our company and completely fabricated. One of them was supposedly from an “unhappy client” except that when she said the work was done, we didn’t even exist except on paper! It was before our first client about 11 years ago. I told Yelp this isn’t a legitimate review as it’s literally impossible she meant our company since we just started doing work for our first client. There was another fake one too. Yelp refused to remove them but hinted that they could make the issue go away if we advertised with them. Uhh, shady much?
