8 is back on DTV, conveniently before the first college football weekend and a week before NFL starts. I still had to stream a game I wanted to watch because it was only a regional broadcast back East. Because it was televised, ATT Sports Network also streamed it outside the region. The stream crashed at kickoff, but recovered after 5 minutes.

I would love to live long enough to have customized channel plans. Dare to dream.

For some games I go online for the stream patch it through my laptop into the TV. It can be a PITA but it does work if there's an out of market game I really want to see.
yes it does suck we ordered AirTV Dual-Tuner Adapter for 30 bucks so dish guide will pick up and allow viewing of over the air local staions may even cancel the locals and save the 12 bucks a month

First channel 8, now possibly ESPN/ABC.

I've been on the edge about cutting the cord for about a year now but have always talked myself out of it because of college football. If I wake up tomorrow with no ESPN, there's no real reason to stick around.

FOX and Dish reached an agreement and channel.5 is back on just in time for football. I can only imagine they were getting a lot of complaints with the prospect of no Super Bowl if it dragged on.
