We purchased a house earlier this month, and we were hooked up with a Designer. The Designer is not necessarily on the same page with us, and we are now under the gun to find someone to make house renovations prior to moving here. Our house went under contract within 2 days, so we have to be out by the beginning of November.

What we're hoping to do is have some walls moved to increase the master bedroom/bath/closet, rework the kitchen/great room/living room area - new floors/kitchen, etc.

We don't care if it's over the top designer style - just functional, and classic, but we need reliable/dependable - we don't live here, so...

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I would highly recommend Envy Construction. Outstanding work, always done correctly.

Whomever you use, you will regret it if you are not on scene when the work is done. You really need to oversee job or it won’t get done right. Most Contractors take every shortcut they can get away with.

FYI - I contacted her yesterday (prior to this post) and was thrilled to hear back from her last evening - thank you so much! I've tried to respond to the private message, but I don't think it's going through.

I'd recommend buying the materials yourself and getting estimates on labor only.
