Started 9-1-19 - fall watering schedule. Mon, Wed, Fri only.

I like the mailer post card type deal that shows the whole year's schedule.

Assigned watering days are mandatory for all customers.

Running your landscape irrigation system outside your assigned days is water waste and may result in a water-waste fee or citation.

It’s always a good idea to water less often than permitted and increase the schedule only if your landscape needs more water. Check below for special restrictions and seasonal watering tips.

Everyone who lives here gets one, so no need for a post about it.

Not everyone. There are lots of wells around LV. And they are, in general, not bound by the watering rules. Some of the old neighborhoods downtown actually have both wells and city water. I don't think they observe the rules either. We do cut back as it cools but generally don't abide by the day schedule. I for instance cut the Bermuda lawns to weekly just for some trees and border plants. The front lawn however is not Bermuda and gets 3 times a week through the winter.

Some of us don't live there yet and appreciate learning about these things.

Did it ever occur to you that people who are thinking about moving to the area might read this forum??

Funny you're wasting your breath on something that everyone already knows. The irony.

Thanks, watering schedule gatekeeper.

Huh, ok. I never got anything like that, so it’s news to me. Did it just get sent? I checked my mail two days ago and haven’t ever seen anything like that in the mail nor did I change my schedule or even know how. I’m replacing the irrigation control with a smart irrigation system so it’ll be easier once it’s on app control. I have the unit just haven’t done it yet. The builder told me the city pays no attention to new build communities like this as everyone is still figuring things out and probably doing it wrong lol.

I was running mine 3 times a week, 60 minutes, with 2 GPH drippers on most shrubs. Apparently, that wasn't enough water as a I have a few shrubs that are struggling.
