Hi All,

I'm a young sales professional in my early 20s looking at possibly making the move to LV. Looking for a change of scenery and LV surprisingly seems to be on the top of my list with it's relatively low cost of living, outdoor activities, and proximity to other cities.

My question would be what are some of the best parts of town coming in solo with no friends/connections to live and meet people in my demographic? I'd like to be close to entertainment activities but not thinking right next to the strip. I've heard good things about Summerville, Henderson, and Downtown. Any insight you could give me on this, as well as living in Vegas as a whole would be greatly appreciated.

Usual responses are Summerlin, Henderson, N LV. LV COL seems to have gone up a bit in the past year.

There are none. Summerlin and Henderson are family oriented suburbs. Downtown and the strip are resort casinos for tourists.

Early 20s? Find a job, meet people who are your age at your job, then hang out somewhere. Or enroll into college classes at UNLV or CSN, make some friends, then hang out somewhere.

I don't really know any specific places where young people hang out specifically. It's football season....you could go to a bar and hangout with anyone you see if you are a social person.

I'm in my early 30s but I look like I'm in my early to mid 20s and the first friends/connections I made were in the job I currently have.

Oh yea....the gym....there you go. Lotta young people go to the gym if you are into fitness.

There are a few places. Downtown such as The Ogden is loaded with young professionals. And there is other housing in the area.

Inspirada has a young tilt. Aliante and Centennial both trending younger. You will find them often in the lower end of housing in areas like the SW or NW.
