Thinking of buying a property for renting in the new Spanish Hills devlopment, it is a 1 bed 1 bath appartment approx $400,00 / 620sq. ft.

As I am from the UK I do not know what the area in and around this development is like, whether renting this type of property is in demand, and whether the price / size is reasonable.

Would appreciate any local knowledge. Thanks.

Do you mean $40,000, $400,000 or pounds?

im kinda confused here...i have been to the spanish hills area when i was house hunting,if we are talking about the same place. so i kind of know that area a little. But are you saying you want to buy a 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment for $400.000? and you want to get people to rent it?..for 400.000 i would just buy a house. or maybe i just got it wrong.

i agree. with 400,000 you can buy a much nicer house with at least 3 beds 2 baths. 400g's for a 1 bed 1 bath is pretty steep. i myself havent been to spanish hills but i think 400g's is too high for a 1 bed/bath place.

Also, the Spanish Hills that I know of is not new, so when you say the new Spanish Hills I am not sure what you are talking about.

Pretty much anywhere in Las Vegas, unless maybe a condo on the strip or the new Queensridge place towers, is over priced at $400,000 for a 1 bed 1 bath. Also, good luck renting it out when you can get a really nice home for the kind of rent you will need to charge on a place like that in order to cover your mortgage.
