It gave me a little vertigo. I'm not crazy about heights either. I prefer level hiking through the woods but almost never find any. I'm from the Mountain State and would rather be on top of a mountain than almost anyplace. My favorite hike though is Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite Nat'l Park. It's high elevation-wise, but the hike is relatively level, and the scenery is spectacular. Lots of critters to see too.
