In my opinion, no one over the age of 10 looks good in shorts.
Everything is air conditioned so where's the need for shorts?
Add a little class to the place and put on a pair of khakis or similar.

From what I can see here, anything goes in Las Vegas when it comes to what to wear. I have seen high fashion, business attire, casual, too casual and what were you thinking when you chose that outfit. I love people watching!! My favorite was this older couple wearing matching yellow polyester short shorts and purple shirts. Oh and I love when you go to the strip and you see the sleazy chics who wear skirts so short that nothing is left to the imagination (especially when they are overweight) wearing super heels that they can't even walk in. If they think they look good, it's scary When my husband asks me if what he is wearing is alright, I always remind him that we live in Vegas

shorts are fine. Pretty much everything in Vegas is casual.
I went to dinner at Mon Ami Gabi in shorts, sandals and a short-sleeve shirt. granted, they were nice sandals and not flip-flops
The rule i've always been told, no matter what restaurant in town, has been no tank-tops and no swimwear. Define that as you will, since it is Las Vegas, after all.
Then again, I'm just one of those "northeasterners", LOL!

Some of the nicer restaurants ask for long pants and collared shirts, especially in the evening.
If it's daytime, and a buffet, I think shorts are fine, no matter where you are.
But there are nice tailored shorts, and then the rest. I figure your shorts should have originally cost at least about the price of your meal
