Part time job for college student
HI. I will be moving to vegas mainly to go back to school for a higher education. My plans are to work part time so I have time to study for my classes. I have work experience in the research field and was wondering if anyone knows of any part time jobs in the clinical research, public health or something similar mainly in the academic setting. I've looked at UNLV's site, but haven't found anything yet. Any pointers? Thank you.

Google came up with all this: clinical research in las vegas - Google Search
I know of one on Tenaya that tests meds on volunteers, but other than what you see on Google I am not familiar with any others except that I know we have them here. I know at one time Las Vegas was considered a good test market for most anything, as we were like an island here in the middle of nowhere. I doubt that is still the case now that we've reached 2 million people, but the sheer size of Las Vegas and the growth in the health care industry here should offer lots of opportunities for you.

Visit or call the Financial Aid office at UNLV. They have many work study programs available, and many other jobs only open to UNLV students.

Well, I don't know about in your specific field, but I know that a lot of college students make good money doing valet parking or cocktail waitressing.
