union membership auto parts stores
Hi to all las vegas residents
i need a little help in find it out if the city of las vegas auto parts belong to a local union.i am thinking of relocating to las vegas because i heard so much about jobs and their great benefits if you belong to a union. my present employer is willing to transfer me to la vegas,but i have no ideal if they belong to union.the hr dept would not provide me that kind of information,nor my local union knows if any auto parts store to a union.i am also thinking of buying a home but i am not sure.

Every attempt that I know of to "Unionize" the Parts Departments and Service Centers of the local dealerships has failed. As far as I know, there is no auto parts in Nevada that is part of a Union.

that's quite a LARGE statement for something like the culinary union.....but yes....that probably tops the long hypocrisy list lol

I really don't think any retailers, fast foods, etc., in Las Vegas have unions of any kind. At least none that I know of and I've worked with a lot of them on their employment needs.
