Default Population of Clark County

How many people live in clark county? I saw the 2000 census figures and it was 1.35 million but I talked to my mother who live in vegas and she said there was about 2 million? What's your take on this ?

How many people live in Clark County? All of them.

We passed the 2 million mark this past September.

Without looking it up I think what they mean is Clark County just passed 2 million but Las Vegas is about 1.35 million of that.

Nope. The biggest municipality is unincorporated Clark County. Las Vegas is around 500K...

I live in the Las Vegas Valley and have a Las Vegas postal address. I do not live in the City of Las Vegas. The census number was about 538K. Present estimate is around 600K. Unincorporated County is just under 900K.

LV Metro----blah, blah, blah. So why do you constantly quote crime figures from the city of LV, rather LV metro which is the fourth most dangerous area? City Crime Rankings by Population Group

Why do you use numbers from a tricked up commercial list when the FBI/DofJ publishes a perfectly adequate set?

Because you don't like the answer you get from the official source so you go off to a tricked up one that agrees with your view.
