Default Yoga Studios?

I am arriving to become a resident on June 29th I am in the final stages of prepping for my move to the spring valley area of Las Vegas. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a nice yoga studio in this area. I have already looked online and I did get some local studios which I plan to check out, but I just wondered if anyone had any personal experiences with one they could recommend. Thanks!

I go to the yoga classes at 24 Hour Fitness. They're free to members.

Good quality and usually a pretty good class turn-out.

i heard the las vegas athletic clubs are awesome. super cheap and no initiation fees if you're female. they have tons of (seemingly) great classes, including yoga and pilates.

Blue Sky Yoga is one of the most unique and wonderful places in town. It's a little bit of a commute from Spring Valley, but is much more complete than the gym classes, which focus more on the physical exercise and sometimes ignore the breathing and meditation aspects. Plus no gawking dudes.

Default Yoga

Thanks for the references...I've always practiced in a small studio setting, so I think Blue Sky Yoga is more my speed. Plus the Red Rock yoga hikes sound incredible! Plus, no gawking dudes

That Blue Sky Yoga looks interesting; I'll have to check it out when I'm back in Vegas. I've always gone to Yoga Sanctuary which is fantastic, and I've heard very few complaints about it. www.lasvegasyoga.com for all the details.

I miss it terribly now that I'm out of Vegas, but I'm currently working for a studio owner who got her certification there too, so at least some of the atmosphere is recreated. I go more for the teachers than the studio itself though.

Yoga Sanctuary used to hold their east side classes at Ki-atsu. I'm not sure how Ki-atsu's own teachers are, but the studio itself is my favorite in town. I wish they could all be like that!

Hey there, was curious as to where you are practicing now. I too went to Blue Sky and really liked the place. I've recently relocated here, am a yoga teacher and trying to make my way. (it's been 2 months)
Also, how are you adjusting to Nevada? I've joined some meetup groups to help make the transition a bit easier.
Good luck, Wendy
