Default Henderson

Can anyone tell me if there is a community 2 year college in Henderson, Nevada and where it is located. Also what is the minium wage in Nevada.

The community college in the LV area is the College of Southern Nevada. There is a Henderson campus at 700 College Drive, which is off Horizon just West of Boulder Highway. The minimum wage in NV is $6.33 if the employer doesn't offer health insurance, or $5.30 if they do.

That campus is however mostly specialties...paramedic, welding, refrigeration, agriculture.

There is also a four year college nearby which offers a limited but more general curriculum...

UNLV and CSN are considered the best name schools in the valley. CSN has open admissions, but UNLV isn't hard to get into either (it's 4 year, but you can always do part-time).

UNLV isn't a far drive at all from Henderson. It's actually pretty close.

CSN's main campus (which has the most options) is further away.
