Well this has been one of the most entertaining threads of the year. I say Mack should move to LV and figure it all out for himself. He's young, he can have his fun, and someday when he get's older, he will move back to stuffy old boring Maine and realize it's a great place after all.
Have fun and enjoy life as much as possible while you are young, while you are older, while you are ancient. Experience new towns and cities, other countries. Go to the moon and back.

THIS THREAD IS LONG COZ YES THE OP TAkes time to reply each and every post to him. now that's dedication. regardless of his spelling skills.. i learned a new word from him actually =supposably. i googled it. it is in dictionary.com and yes it is always confused with supposedly.. and it is an adverb. about the spelling.. that ticks me off. how a LOT of people try to bash strangers just coz they had a typo. and for the nth time i wanna remind EVERYONE. this is not a grammar/spelling school. unless you were the poster's actual english teacher.. i hope people just seize that being a grammar nazi all the freaking time. to the OP.. have you considered chicago? regarding the spending thing on dates. i would never pay EVER for a guy's or friend's drinks/food. i always go dutch. but if a guy asks me out. i expect him to pay for everything. of course.

I'm not trying to revive old and tired arguments but I DID ask a bunch more people about this whole thing about drinks and high rollers and they said this:

"Vegas CAN be expensive and it WILL have it's fair share of high rollers and high roller girls but compared to other western cities it is inexpensive and still has the perks of other cities. There are girls everywhere and you don't have to spend a ton of money to have fun. The biggest issue you will have is way too many of them everywhere and crowded streets. Often they are "lined" up in the streets. If you want to meet girls you can meet them easily and a lot of them are tourists out to have a good time with ANYONE, it's a party atmosphere and people are friendly in general. There are a lot of transplants so it is relatively easy to make friends. DOn't live just outside of the strip, live about 15-20 miles out and take the bus into town when you go. There is not a lot of economic variety but if you do end up settling for the service industry in a year or two if you pick the right place you could be doing very very well there. The biggest issue that you will run into with girls is not HIGHROLLERS, it's the fact that there are a bunch of other people in the hotel rooms they are staying, as they are visiting. As you know privacy is important."

Dude, something to consider. Women want a man who is successful and ambitious just as much as you want a woman who is hot.

If you expect hot women to date you for your personality then you should be dating some overweights cuz they had nice personalities.

I am going to briefly clear up this misconception, as I have tried to do many times. I don't "want" a woman who is "hot". I have "had" women who are "hot" and learned that looks don't mean much in the long run. I continue to find women that I am attracted to where I am now but it takes a long long time to meet enough of these girls to find the ones that I enjoy. Im tired of it. If I find girls who are attractive to me, a lot of times I don't like their personalities. A great part about moving to a city will be that I can meet these kind of women on any kind of day consistantly, and the average girl in Vegas will at least meet my standards look-wise and then we will see about her personality. The difference between the average standard of woman where I live, and the average standard of women in say "martha's vinyard" or "boston" is HUGE.

I am moving out of my small town because there are no oppurtunities and for a single guy the entertainment and options when it comes to jobs, women, ect. are very limited. It's a place people come to "settle down" and "raise families".

I want "more" options, not a perfect woman, no one is perfect anyways...and as Ive said before the average girl who keeps in good shape and is fun to be around is better than any super hot model any day. Theres not much more to say about girls, I've made myself pretty clear many times. Im not looking for any sort of "superficial" arrangement, but I can tell you that the superficial stereotype about the west has definately proved to be totally on the mark. I feel bad for all these guys with their bruised ego's spewing hate at me on this forum. It's sad to me, then they wonder why they can't find a girl. With that attitude your right, you cant. I do have aspirations but if I plan to get out of this small town to pursue them I am going to have to be spontaneous enough to move somewhere big and take a risk, and so I will have to get whatever job I can to get my feet on the ground. I can't sit around unemployed waiting till I get hired for a more "respectable" job, and Im not going to stop talking to women in the meantime either. Anyone who cant understand that, is just an idiot and not worth anymore of my time.
