Towbin offers $0.00 a gallon gas for 3 years.
Is this legit?
I am driving to NLV from Henderson and spending over $100 on fuel every three days. This deal sounds too good to be true. I have read over his fine print and can see no indication that this is a scam. I have heard mixed reviews about Towbin and was wondering if any of you partook in his last gas deal where he was offering gas at $1.77 for 3 years. We could all use the break from these prices but I am skeptical.
Any insight to Towbin's business practices would be great.

They'll get you one way or another. I know someone who worked there, very briefly, in sales. He said they are the worst dealership he ever encountered. Without going into detail, I guess you could say they epitomize "car salesmen".

The bolded should be a red flag for ya. Do you know/are related to anyone of the bosses at Towbin? If you don't/aren't, they're not just gonna give someone they don't know $$$.

I think the gas offers by Dodge has a bunch of catches. If I remember correctly, you only limmited to a certain amount of gas or diesel per year. I think the $1.77 is only for buyers of the Dodge Ram pickups. If your spending $100 every 3 days, it might be a good time to get a more fuel efficient car or truck. I got rid of my full size GMC a few years ago for a 4 cyl Toyota P/U and it was the best investment I've made. Takes 45 to fill up and lasts me 4 days.

Bottom line is the auto makers have to make a Pickup that gets decent gas mileage. Something the blue collar guy can be proud to own and still get 30+ miles to the gallon. Wake me up when this happens

Well I am looking at a fuel efficient car. I currently get 25mpg and need to do better. I guess the worst part of this whole promotion is the fact that I would have to buy a Chrysler product.
Update- It says that the offer is contigient with financing through Towbin. So I am sure they will stick you with a higher interest rate to make up the difference.

Do you drive the 5 series? I figure that would get better than 25mpg. I recently had a friend purchase a used 2007 Camry Hybird. It takes about 65 to fill up (regular 87) and it gets more than 600 miles to the tank. Drove from Morgan Hill, CA to Las Vegas in 1 tank of gas. Had to feather the gas pedal to have the electric motor helping out the gas motor 60/40. The car is loaded and doesn't seem to have a lack of power. Gets almost 40 city driving. Paid 25K a few months ago.

the chrysler promotion for gas at $3 has limitations, they put it in lieu of rebates and such.. you will pay for it one way or another
