Moving to Henderson, looking for nice gym nearby.
My sister-in-law's moving to Henderson in 2 weeks, and she is trying to find a nice workout gym nearby with good amenities (swimming pool, courts) and child care, besides 24 Hr. Fitness and Gold's Gym. Are there any other gyms there?

LVAC is at Eastern and 215 and is very nice...Las Vegas Athletic Club, the only problem is the parking situation at peak times...

The facilities at the Henderson Multi Generation Center are great! Cheap and nice. Never crowded.

The LVAC at the 215 and Eastern is more like a social club than a gym and its very very crowded. I would look into Anytime Fitness. They have more of a low key, get in, do your thing, and get out kind of vibe. So I am told... I go to 24Hr and prefer it, but a good alternative is Anytime Fitness. There are a few in Henderson. Check them out online. I hear Club Sport is awesome too, but expensive.

I would have to say that I am VERY impressed with Anytime Fitness....the gym on west charleston is offering FREE summer membership to any teenager [I would assume "in the area" and not from far off parts of town] I think that is an ADMIRABLE thing to do .....
