I'd like to see Dunkin Donuts opening in the vacated Starbucks locations..I am especially fond of their coffee with a vanilla or chocolate creme filled donut.

I like Starbuck's hot flavored Holiday coffees and hot chocolate in the winter...near Thanksgiving and Christmas. Pumpkin Spice, Gingerbread and Peppermint Hot Chocolate.

That's about it. I don't like that heavy espresso tasting coffee they serve..reminds me of the coffee you get throughout Italy, Germany, Switzerland, France, England, etc.

And if you ask for cream or milk with your coffee...they bring it to you hot and sometimes frothy.

Makes sense when you think about it. Hot coffee, hot cream. Not cold, like we are used to here at home.

Oh good. I thought I'd have to enroll in classes.

They French are known for their fine cuisine. And you very rarely see an overweight French woman.

They eat very small portions, throughout the day and drink wine with their meals, not soda or iced tea like we do here.

I remember seeing a Starbucks near the Lourve Museum a few years ago when we were there...it was PACKED!

I wonder if now, it is one of the international ones being closed or if Starbucks is still popular there

Isn't it amazing? A world without Starbucks, or McDonalds...or Burger King and several other American places?

All these have established themselves all throughout Europe..in places you'd never expect to see them!

I have a dear friend of mine. A true "Starbucks junkie" as she calls herself. She is already lamenting about the closures of the 17 stores here in town..

Seems like a lot of the drive through ones and the ones in the hotels seem to be doing OK and not facing being shut down.

That Starbucks in the Golden Nugget...wow, they do a fantastic business!

I like my coffee as black as night, and as strong as death.

My drink of choice at SB's is a double Americano.
That's 3 shots of espresso watered down!
Go for the Venti and you have 4 shots
I add a bit of sugar to get the bitterness out and some half & half.
IMO, no other drink can beat this "high".
