ROFLMAO....when I moved from here "down the shoah" in 1979, So Jersey had ZERO nexicab restaurants.....then they put onein because of all the westerners that moved there....I went.....their salsa was Italian red sauce and tabasco sauce.....
thats why when Taco Bell opened up near Cherry Hill, I drove 55 miles for 'Dinner"

Whatever your feelings about it, one of the good things about our 26% Hispanic population is that we finally have some real Mexican restaurants. Macayo and Taco Bell don't qualify as Mexican food as far as I'm concerned. In fact I hate to use Taco Bell in the same sentence with "Mexican food". It's OK for lunch but no one should confuse it with Mexican food. I think it's closer to Greek, but really it's a class by itself.
Frank & Fina's is Mexican food. So are the Michoacans, both Lindo & Bonito. Garduņo's is NEW Mexican, but qualifies. Doņa Maria's is good too, and El Burrito. I haven't been to Las Vegas' first Mexican restaurant in several years, the El Sombrero on Main St., but I bet it's still good. It looks like there are a ton of little places in the barrio but I haven't tried any of them for years. But for those who think Macayo, or Roberto's, is good Mexican food, do yourself a favor and go to real Mexican restaurant.

First date was actually a couple of days ago. Ended up at Sweet Tomatoes, just cause it was close. I suggested all of the places you guys suggested, and she was impressed by my knowledge of Veggie Cuisine.
