Are there any cool clothing stores thats sell things on consignment? Or like an upscale resale shop? We have tons of them in the Detroit area but I didn't see any when I visited there.

Consignment/used/vintage clothing stores in Las Vegas area
There are many thrift/consignment/vintage boutiques and stores in the Las Vegas Metropolitan area and I have seen at least four others come and go in the last five years I've lived here. Unfortunately, there are FEW if any stores/boutiques specifically for children's clothing. I'm not sure if the "community" here just doesn't support excellent, reasonably priced consignment clothing boutiques as much as other cities do, but it seems that given the economy (especially locally) NOW would be a GREAT time for them to flourish.
I have been to many of these I've listed and will refrain from voicing my opinion on each, however, I will say that if you've regularly shopped/hunted any of these areas: N.Y., L.A., San Fran, Seattle, Portland: you MAY be a bit disappointed. I find the prices high in many of the "hip" places here, but just like ALL "hunting" goes, if you shop often, you'll find that "hidden gem" when you least expect it.

excellent info, I was just gonna post and ask about thrift stores...I'm not too interested in ritzy consignment stores, but more the thrift stores. Any good ones apart from Salvation Army and Goodwill? Some cities are loaded with great thrift stores and I always furnish anywhere I live with thrift stuff and always looks great for sooo much less. just wondering if Vegas has a lot or few of those type of stores, mainly for larger furniture - sofas, chairs, etc. thanks!

Deseret industries was just recommended to me by a coworker. There is a decent kids resale in summerlin & one in Henderson on green valley just north of paseo verde next to Smith's. Sorry, cant remember the names. Seems like most kids consignment waits for the 2 big events (kid to kid maybe its called?). There is also an "antique mall" on sunset and... Eastern?

Consignment/used/vintage clothing stores in Las Vegas area
There are many thrift/consignment/vintage boutiques and stores in the Las Vegas Metropolitan area and I have seen at least four others come and go in the last five years I've lived here. Unfortunately, there are FEW if any stores/boutiques specifically for children's clothing. I'm not sure if the "community" here just doesn't support excellent, reasonably priced consignment clothing boutiques as much as other cities do, but it seems that given the economy (especially locally) NOW would be a GREAT time for them to flourish.
