I was an Office Manager for a Pest Control company. Worked there for 8 years, then I quit when the company got bought out by another company. I took a month off the spend with my daughter. Then had a job within a couple of weeks, when I decided to go back to work. I would have had one within a day. But I was picky because I wanted something close to where I live, and decent hours.
I worked there for 8 months, and My husband and I opened our own Pest control company. I had a good job history, and had lasted long at my jobs. Which is hard to find now a days.
When I was an Office Manager, going through the employment applications, I would not even consider them if they did not have a decent history. I would see applications that most people had like 10 or more jobs and barely lasted 6 months at most places.
I know things happen, and the employers may not have been fair to the employees. But it is my feeling that out of 10 jobs, if you were doing your job right, you would have stayed more then 6 months and had some kind of stable history.
It cost so much to train and get people working with you, that if they are not going to last because they are constantly changing jobs. Then why bother. I want a long time employee.
So If you have a good back ground, I feel you should not have any problems.
