Ok, so here's my situation. I've accepted a job offer in Vegas and I'll be moving there early September. I'll be working just West of the Strip and South of Downtown. I'm looking for a really nice apartment or condo to rent within 10 minutes commute. I know it's a little ambition but I think it can be done. (At least with your help)
I prefer to live close to work because I'm a late-riser, I'm not about dealing with traffic, and I prefer to go home for lunch because Fast Food is the devil.
I know people like to recommend Henderson or Summerlin but those areas are just too far. Everytime I search for a place within the above-stated radius all I seem to get is the dumps or places with really extravagant prices or I research the apartment ratings and all I see are bad reviews. Are there any nice places out there without paying an arm and a leg...i.e. under $900? Your help would be much appreciated!
