UNLV stands for University of Never Leaving Nevada meaning your UNLV degree means squat outside of the Silver State. If you're serious about hotel management, go to Cornell. I used to work in the industry and many VP's went to Cornell and they are also sending their children there as well.

You must be talking about the lesser known UNLN. I have a UNLV degree and it was there I learned how to form acronyms. Yours makes no sense, just like your post. Maybe I learned how to form acronyms in the fourth grade. Either way, you get my point.

Besides, we prefer to joke about UNLV by calling it the University of Maryland - Parkway.

You have to be kidding. UNLV stands for University of Never leaving Vegas

However, UNLV is a great school for hotel management at a fraction of the cost of Cornell. Sure you might know VPs that went to Cornell and are sending their kids there, but not everyone is a VP and can afford Cornell.
