medical marijuanna
i was wodering if las vegas,(or any of nevada) had a medical marijuanna law?? or what the restrictions, punishment for having it is??
i have my medical card here in oregon and we are thinking of moving to nevada, i do not condone the use of it as a drug, but for medical reasons i will be the first to fight for it, i suffer from seriouse migraines, i get atleast 4 a month that are completely disabilitating, i have been given prescriptions before and i have tried the diate change and everything else the marijuanna is the only thing that does relax it a little bit, it does not go away completely but i am not in so much pain that i cant function anymore. so what i am wanting to know is if there is a medical plan for it in nevada? is it something they are trying to pass even if it is not in affect right now?
please any info would be appreciated!
thank you

Nevada does have a medical marijuana clause. You can read up on the details here.

Google
As discussed in previous related threads (use the forum search feature) . . only legal under state statute, NOT federal.

Dear Dr. jb1219,
You searing insight into the matter has opened my eyes to the sham that is medical marijuana. Cancer patients should continue to use harsh pain killers which cause nausea on top of the nausea caused by chemotherapy. Glaucoma patients should be denied access to this "drug" as well as there are many artificial alternatives just as useful. Anything that could be abused, no matter how useful, should be taken right out of the market. Cars, guns, cough medicine, you name it.

Looks like Sheriff and Homelessman have a trplet in JB1219.
Back in 2000 I had a perforated colon. They did surgery, and took out 10 inches of my colon. While I was recovering from it in the hospital they had me on a morphine pump. It would give me a dose once a hour. It helped, but the side effects were a desire to watch Cheech & Chong movies, eat granola, burn incense, and use patchouli oil.
Thanks to some rather intense therapy, I was able to overcome it. I was strapped to a chair, with my eyes held open, like they did with Roddy McDowell in A Clockwork Orange. During this, I was forced to watch old Ronald Regan movies, while they played Pat Boone records backwards and slathered my bare chest with Best Foods Mayonnaise.
It's not a treatment that I would recommend to the faint of heart.

wouldn't be half as bad if they used either Hellman's or Miracle Whip.

it isn't a conventional therapy for "mommy of 2" arthritis. try using something that wont alter your mentation! as a mother you probably shouldn't be stoned to help your arthritis.
but i can tell i wont win an argument against the pro-marijuana crowd. go ahead and do your thing... while most folks deal with life's ups and downs without dope..
