sounds to me like you think next year will be a great time to invest in real estate then!

so, even when you're negative, you're positive. thanks for the tip.

Ahhhh guys........

Im back. Im sweating buckets here but came in to catch up on my mail and this ol blog thing. My AC is doomed, its over 100 inside but since the thermostat blinks lines after 99 I have no idea how hot it really is. $5000 for a new one. I will just live in the RV where the AC runs cold. Anyone know a good Arsonist ? I have full RV hookups next to my home and the RV is far more luxurious then the house.

I read the same things as you all. Ben Stein would not feel 1928 revisited with his money. He has no idea whats going on in our world and neither does your govt. The real working stiffs like us know better. Anyone remotely connected to construction is probably out of work now. Retail seems to be chugging along. So many many businesses have closed the doors forever locally as well as nationally. Some of these businesses are old stand by forever Las Vegas and are now gone.

Some of you sound like 3000 sales are bragging rights. Maybe it is when comparing to last year. Im complaining louder because Im just so disgusted at what happened to our homes. Many of you are saying you dont see improvement till next year or beyond. I see it as beyond too but less optimistic then you all. At least some of you are being realistic. Others are not.

I think life is too short to wait around for construction to come back. Many already have hit the road. I just wish I had the brass ballies to do what everyone else is doing.

Hold tight everyone. We are in for a long ride.

Well some people are burying their heads in the sand, some are taking the Forest Gump approach (Run Forest...)[it's on TV right now so I couldn't resist], and some are going ahead with the "Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead" approach. It's all in the way people are going to perceive what is happening.

No different anywhere else in the country right now............

I have much bigger problems to worry about...I ended up with Jay Cutler (DEN) and Matt Shaub (HOU) as my 2 QB's in my fantasy football draft last night! And they both have bye weeks in week 8!

I've never played fantasy football. I played JV for two years (#64) at Justin-Sienna HS (Catholic) in Napa, CA, back in 80 & 81. "80 Hit!" & "81 Hit & Run!" were our war chants, since we were the Braves. I played center, right defensive tackle, and right killman on the "suicide" squad. Ah, those were the days. I'll have to find some old pictures. It's hard to believe I could actually wear size 29 Angel Flight pants.
