Pretty soon, the only retail store that will exist is Walmart. It will be your one stop shop for EVERYTHING you need. Then they can raise prices because there is no competition.

That's because they're a bunch of brain dead gits! All of this pablum they're being spoon fed by network tv is enough to make one George Bush stupid. Other than the local news, I don't watch anything below ch 20 (CNN). Between the two stores, I prefer Borders. I hve their discount card, and it always saves me a few dollars.

Keep in mind that a lot of us are going to mp3. My husband and I listen to a lot of audio books instead of actually reading them. I also use the library to cut out clutter. Although I do enjoy sundays at Borders with a cup of coffee, a good book and a comfy chair.
