Since you're really not into it, it's a good thing that you didn't get it done. Of all of the forms of body art, tattooing is one of the most permanent. The only ones more so are branding, sacrifiication, and implants. Piercing's the least permanent, for the most part, since you can always take out the jewelry, and it will heal up. If you go for any of the really large gauges, they don't always close all of the way up. Laser tattoo removal is pretty effective, it's a lot more expensive than the original tattoo, and much more painful. A laser removal takes multiple seasons, and feels like being repeatedly snapped with rubber bands.
Do I have any regrets? Yes, that I don't have more tattoos.
I just wish that I were in shape, so I could get my back piece done.
