Did you ever see the carboard city with about a hundred homeless people? If your driving down 15 south I think it might be the Cheyanne overpass, if you look way off to the right you will see dozens and dozens of appliance boxes used as homes. If you look real closely many of them look like normal people. By normal I mean appearance wise, semi clean, decent cloths, combed hair. They all have a story. No one here made fun of them so far and I hope that dont change.

I go by there a lot, I only see a few now.

I wasnt so much making fun of those idiots making scab wages, your right, we all have to work but my problem with them is their head is larger then a ten ton tub of turds. I dont approve the way they treat those who must go through their gauntlet to work. They are not real cops. In fact they are mostly failures at the oink acadamy and that is the only job they can find. But they still think they are real cops and treat us peons like real cops do. Like trash !

For those of you driving through one of those communist places, if one of those keystone cops try to pull you over because you were exceeding the artificially low speed limits, keep on driving. They are not allowed to pull you over. If you stop for them then you have allowed yourself to be illegally detained by a non officer of the law. According to law that is kidnapping. Give the fool the finger and slowly keep on driving. He can not chase you outside of his little turf. If they pull in front of you to block you then call the real police. If they are not a sworn officer of the law then they can not detain you. If you allow them to give you a summons you do not have to pay it. The worst that can happen is you (if you live there) or the homeowner you visited will lose all rights to the clubhouse or golf course or whatever amenities that place offers.

Those speed limit or other traffic signs in those private communities are not DOT approved locations. They are DOT approved standard signs purchased from the DOT but that is of no care to us. A traffic sign is unenforceable if the location is not DOT approved and in all private communities they are not. Same for signs in a mall parking lot. They are unenforceable even by a real officer. That dont mean one will never give you a summons for running a stop sign in a parking lot. But if you take it to court I guarantee you it will be dismissed.
you sound a bit angry today. everything cool?

while i get your overall sentiment (yes, there are security guards out there who want to be cops), it almost seems as though you're advocating drive however you want to in mall parking lots and within communities, because the signs don't mean *ish. i hope that's not what you mean.

I've seen quite a few episodes of Cops in Las Vegas.

I know I've seen at least two episodes in the Clark High School vicinity.

I always get a energetic, do anything, get anything vibe from Vegas. And I'm about to get it again soon . Anyplace can have a sleazy vibe, it's all in what you make it.

Didn't read through this thread, so someone else probably mentioned it by now, but regarding if Vegas has a sleazy vibe, well, it IS known as SIN CITY.

I've only visited Vegas 3 times in my life & I don't drink or gamble, but still love Vegas. It's a nice place for a weekend getaway or to spend a week. I've always just stayed on the strip, so any longer than a week to see everything on just one street may be too long.

I love to eat, so all the buffets are half the fun for me! I also love to shop!

Now, I know I am not speaking for everyone that lives in LV...there are some great down-to-earth honest people there, I'm sure (those are the ones that post here!) I know what you're saying but at the same time you aren't being ignored. The city is very customer service oriented. I find most of the people working in Vegas to be helpful. Go to Sedona AZ. and it's a different story.
