Question Eastside Cannery Casino opens, first of a few to come!

Its been some ten years since a new casino opened on the Boulder Strip.
Today, the Eastside Cannery opens.
If its anything like the NLV Cannery it should be a middle of the road place and a good value.
I have seen it from the outside and it looks pretty nice. Perhaps I might go down there later tonight....
Its exact location is on Boulder Hwy and Harmon, just south of Sams Town.

Anybody planning on going out there the next few days?

* next to open is the Aliante Station Casino on 11/11/08 at Aliante Pkwy and the Northern Beltway. After that it would probably be the "M" , City Center and Fountain Blu

Good one. But I suspect others can claim the same and would not ever admit it. I havn't been to any of those strip casinos in maybe 8 years either, I guess other then picking up guests at the Monte Carlo.

First thing I did after moving here is figure out the back routes to the Bellagio so I could take my wife and daughter to watch the dancing water from time to time without dealing with the strip.

Oh let's be honest, I love the dancing water shows myself.

what strange comments...

anyways when did the AZ Charlies on Boulder open? I thought it was newer than 10 years...

The Eastside Cannery doesn't look any special but it would be stupid to have yet another movie theater or bowling alley on Boulder Hwy, why not open a skating rink?

returnoftheyeti is on a distinguished road
The Eastside Cannery, the first new casino on Boulder Highway since Boulder Station opened in 1994, will benefit by being the new kid on the block, Semola said.

Low cost is Eastside Cannery’s major innovation - Las Vegas Sun
