You got to study your geography. The 311 Boyz were not a gang (more a party crew) and did not live in Centennial Hills. And if you remember they got busted in the gated high price area of Summerlin.
It is correct that most went to Centennial High School...But that is not in Centennial Hills either. |

just keep on defending the NW, they were a gang, i dont think throwing rocks at other people is something to party about. So now you are saying that an area of Summerlin had a gang?

The 311 boys were most certainly a gang... anyway you try to sugar coat it and call them something else it boils down to "gang."

Teenagers occassionally behave badly. Beating each other or throwing rocks. Does not create a 'gang" which is an ongoing criminal enterprise. So while their behavior may well have been felonious it does not make them into a gang. Nor were the arsonists from the PV football team a gang. They to may well have committed felonies but that does not make them a "gang".
I would not be terribly surprised to find a gang member or two in PV or GV or even AD Tech. It happens. I would however be surprised to find a gang operating in Summerlin or GV or Southern Highlands or the northwest. Not completely impossible but unlikely. Successful gangs generally require a fertile environment...people who are scared of them...recruits who will think them superior...cops who let the little stuff slide trying to get at the big stuff. That is not the suburban environment.

i have seen some gangs here in Green Valley and I have in Southern Highlands as well.

yeah the 311 boyz aren't a real gang. they don't even exist anymore. gangs aren't as much of a problem as people on this forum make it sound.
