A.They should love Red Rock, its so close and in a World of it own. We loved it.
B.Head to the Hoover Dam, and the tour there.........something one can not see in their home state.
C. Oh MY "The Valley of Fire "was like being on the Moon. Gosh, we drove through there and felt like we were on a different planet. It is up by Lake Mead and you can come out by the lake, thus doing two things in one day.
D. Walking the strip if fun in itself, besides going into the casinos
E. Sometimes there is a family show at MGM that is fantastic, we saw FX which was awesome.......
The museum at the Valley of Fire is free and informative. It shows the desert animals, snakes, bugs!! It tells about its rock formations, etc..........Just loved that place.

Sí, muches hummingbirds. It should not be confused with the Mt Charleston Hotel though. The Mt Charleston Lodge is all the way to the end of the road. The hotel is before the turn off to Lee Canyon. Try a Mt Charleston coffee sometime, but plan on having a designated driver.
