They need to do away with the two party system. We need something other than reps and dems. I am a no party affilation.
Most presidential candidates will always tell us what we want to hear. Whether or not they actually do what they say they are going to do remains to be seen. It would be nice for them to actually follow through and keep their promises. Maybe then American's will start having more faith in those we elect.

Agree. And I think there should be some accountability for that too. I just find it hard to believe that people actually get so heated over what these candidates say. They say it for votes.

I truly believe that alot of people will vote for who they want based on things that aren't related to the issues. Color, gender, age...but then again, why not? You certainly can't believe what they say. Kind of like playing roulette. Can't wait til it is done.

I went to the CSN Cheyenne campus yesterday, and got a bit of a sunburn...

I took lots of great pictures of Michelle. It's really sad that Barack's grandmother passed away a day before the election.

Default Stange lights in the sky Friday night Nov 7th

Did anyone else see strange lights in the sky Friday evening? I saw them from the 215 Freeway on the south side of town and then again later that night in the Northwest. It was like nothing I've ever seen before. Sort of looked like shooting stars, thought they were pulsating and moving up AND down.

That was a stunt plane right before the airshow this past weekend. Did the lights come from the area of Nellis AFB? maybe around 7:30 - 7:45??

Did anyone else go to Aviation Nation at Nellis this weekend? I was there with my pink hair. I went today(sunday) got rained on for awhile...at least the rain waited until almost the end of the Thunderbird show to start. The walk back to the bus area seemed to take forever. It kept going and going and going...
But according to someone at the show, last year it took 3 hours to get a bus back to the speedway parking. This time it took under an hour to walk through the longest lines in the world(so it seemed)and they had more buses.

The downside, they didn't let us bring any water inside, but happily charged $3 for one. I can get a 24 pack for that price. Skipped the food. Small servings for $4.50-$5 a per person.
Porta potties seemed to stink a lot less..well, if we held our breath that is.

If you go next year, don't bring any food or drink, no knives on key chains, no pets, no bombs(according to the sign)
You have to pass thru metal detectors before boarding the bus that takes you into the base. they also pat you down if you set off the sensor. They will also go thru your bags and purses and toss out your hidden food and drinks.
