This might partially explain the bad driving around here.
Who buys a single beer at the store? Who buys a single one at the bar? I never seen anyone buying 6 at a time at the bar either.

Maybe just maybe the store leaves them in the 6-pack holder so they dont tip over.

I really dont know who would even buy one beer being that it tastes so bad. Yuk!!

Strange question Clark. As for the observation of drinking being the reason for all the bad driving habits here, surprisingly LV does not have a overly high drunk driving problem. People are just creating all these fatal accidents while sober. Imagine if they were all drunk? It would be safer to stay home. It almost is now.

i used to work in a liquor store...its more like people stealing one beer, not a case of the store selling one out of a six pack

Oh, maybe that's it. I actually asked and they did say, yes, they sell single beers and, yes, people do buy a single beer.

I don't get it at all. The only explanation I can offer is a guy has had a long day and he buys one for his trip home (which would explain why he might not want the whole 6-pack).

And I've noticed this most frequently with the better beers, stuff kids who might be stealing usually haven't acquired a taste for yet.

My other thought was people were drinking one while playing slots, but the store said that's not allowed.

Hey Is anyone one going to go the the BalloonaPalooza this weekend in North Las Vegas?
I lived in the Napa Valley for 27 years, got paid commissions on booking flights, and flew five times for free. A tethered flight at probably 100 feet? Heh heh, what do you think?

I went to a laundry mat, caught up a bit on one of my favorite authors (Robert Asprin), and loaded some CDs on my new (1st gen) 16gb iPod Touch.

I got to do that once for free too. Part of the fun of working in the hotel biz.

Nice place though and the food smelled great-especially the brats!

I went to the one either last year or the year before. The grand opening of the park as a park. It was windy, and some of the giant balloons kept falling over. Interesting to see a giant bee fall over in slow motion.
By the time I was done with running around on saturday, shopping, stopping in at the casino, it was too late to drive over there. So i just watched Sopranos on DVD.

The next thing happening is the ice cream social in Nature discovery park next sunday. From 10am to 2pm or thereabouts. There should be a million and a half kids there so i'll be elsewhere.
