Default Siegel Suites Information

Can anyone who has stayed at Siegel Suites give me any information as far as safety? I had previously posted a thread on Sierra Park Apartments, and thanks for all the help from everyone. I am needing to find an extended stay type property near the strip. From what I can tell, the south strip area is the safest and since I am not good with directions, I just the hotels down there are like MGM, Mand. Bay, Luxor, is that right? There is a Siegel Suites behind MGM on Deckow Lane, would that be a good area? This is the furtherest property south they have. They have a couple on Boulder Hwy, is that safe? Its kind of off strip, either 3625 Boulder Hwy, or 4823 Boulder Hwy? From what I have learned and anybody who knows or can comment to confirm/deny would be very much appreciated. Stay away from Sierra Vista aka Crack Alley, stay away from the road behind Stratosphere aka Naked City, stay away from areas near UNLV such as Twain, Swenson, Flamingo. Here are my options, which would you stay away from or recomend, please help! Keep in mind, these are my only options, I don't have credit to get in an apt community, so its either an extended stay property or a room share with someone. I would really like to hear from someone staying at one of these properties that can tell me from experience. Thanks!

Siegel Suites (behind MGM) Deckow Lane zip 89169
Siegel Suites Sahara (next to Palace Station) Teddy Drive zip 89102
Siegel Suites 4823 Boulder Hwy (between Arizona Charlies and Sam's Town) zip 89121
Siegel Suites 3625 Boulder Hwy (intersection of Boulder Hwy/Desert Inn)
zip 89121

Default Thank you!

Thank you for your advice, can you please tell me which locations you are talking about it. I went to Emerald Suites website, they have a few properties, one near Cameron, one at 9145 s las vegas blvd, one near tropicana graphic center drive? I found a few different Budget Suites too. Here is a list of their properties, rancho drive, stardust rd, tropicana ave, polaris, 8440 s las vegas blvd. The locations for Crestwood are flamingo rd, and 7260 s las vegas blvd? Thanks!

the ones on south las vegas blvd are what i'm talking about

the crestwood on flamingo also seems to be nice as well

the other ones especially on west trop are older and have less amenities, the one on stardust has been knocked down...

Default Finally found the winner I think...

Upon searching more online for the south end of the strip, I came across a property called Manor Suites that I am very excited about. Its at the south end 2 miles past Man. Bay, at 7230 S Las Vegas Blvd. The lobby is shaped like a castle, and they do weekly and monthly rates. Their 1 bedroom suite is 600 sq ft which is by far larger than any of the other extended stay places. I had wanted to be within walking distance to a major casino, but I would much rather be safe plus it will save me from wasting money!! So I believe this is the winner, I read some good reviews and a few bad ones, but everyone has their own opinion. But I believe this is the right choice, being at the south end. Thanks for all the help. I thought I had found all the extended stay properties, but once I got the location of the south strip I just did a Yahoo local search from that address and found every hotel. Thanks again!!!

Manor Suites is really great and they do have gaming at the Tahiti Village next door at the bar, but its only video poker...you are not too far from the Strip or the South Point...Manor Suites is one of the nicest ones, i just always forget to mention it...

Default Siegel Suites neat W. Tropicana and Valley View.

I stayed in the Siegel Suites off of Valley View on Graphic Center Dr. It was fairly safe. They had courtsey patrol with no weapons. They of course lied about having Wifi, Cable was Direct TV with 20 channels, Maintanence takes forever, the furniture stinks (sofa smelled like someone died on it), they charged me extra charges from what they said on the phone. I was only there for a week and moved into a apartment.
