Post Henderson/Green Valley here I come!?

Well after searching and reading interesting comments on the Las Vegas forum, Henderson/Green Valley seems to be a safe and reasonably priced place to start out in. Besides it close to my friends who also live off of Durango. Searching for apartments, I have found a condo that costs $825, 2bdrm - 2-bthrom. I just gotta look into the school to see how it is for my 13 year old. Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for your input guys!!

You do realize that Durango is pretty far on the west side of the strip and runs all the way from the north end of the valley to the south, right? Unless they're pretty far south on Durango, I wouldn't really call Henderson/Green Valley "close" unless 10+ miles is considered "close" in your opinion.

Bob, one of the homes I put in a bid for is off of East Horizon Parkway and I-515. Would this be considered Henderson?

Well my friend used to live in champaign, illinois and i in rantoul. it was approximately a 20-25 minute drive. is that the same distance from henderson to hawk cliff? hawk cliff is the street they live on which i believe is west from durango. if that's right then that would be ok. it's not necessary to live right next to her or anything THAT close. it looks like she's within the summerlin area. let me know. and thanks guys.
