Just step on them or hit them with a magazine. The best defense is to simply clean out the hiding places.

Ohhh and for JFK - wear shoes when steipping on scorpions.

Default They're baaaack

Not many post about scorpions lately, so I thought I'd keep the fear alive. I moved into my rental home in October and just encountered my second scorpion!! The first not so bad, outside in the garage and it was the big black kind. HOWEVER found one this morning in a towel that I was loading into the washer! It was the little tan kind and actually looked less assuming than the one found in the garage. Come to find out, the one in my laundry is creepier than the one outside! Going out to get blacklight now, but when I find the "infestation" or whatever, what the heck am I supposed to kill them with? AHHH
