Hi All,

Needing your collective wisdom please. We are coming out to spend Thanksgiving with our son who has recently taken a job in your fair city. I'm looking for a restaurant that has a Thanksgiving dinner, I'm assuming that many restaurants have this type of thing, but I'd like a local perspective of places to check in to. I went through the thread of favorite restaurants and have a list of places that I want to go to while we are there (which insures that I'll be waddling back to Texas after this trip) but didn't find exactly what I was looking for or maybe it's on that list and I'm not noticing it. We would be happy with a nice sit down meal or even a buffet. Your restaurant choices are overwhelming, is there some restaurant that comes to mind that if you had family coming in to town for Thanksgiving and didn't want to cook, you would think of right off? Not particularly interested in picking up a "Thanksgiving meal" at the grocery store to reheat, needing an actual out to eat type arrangement. In our area many restaurants advertise a "Thanksgiving Dinner" and it runs the gamut of suit and tie/$100+ a person to a more casual, less expensive type offering. And I'll be grateful and consider anything that you can suggest for us. I hope that I've given you enough information about what I'm looking for to offer us some suggestions. Thanks!

Thanks for these suggestions. Doing research, which I should have done prior to posting, because I'm certain you all are asked this every year about this time, I learn that some of these buffets have three hour waits-wow! So now I'm on a mission to find a restaurant that takes reservations. Again, I thank you both.
