Hopes this helps.
Wow!!! You must 'not' have Cox cable. Who do you use for cable? I thought Cox was the only choice. We have about same service with Cox and its $121 per month and the cable tv sound goes out and the high speed internet is what I called normal speed in NC, not fast at all. We are in NW Las Vegas, so maybe thats the difference. Thanks for the info as we just bought a house and were wondering about the same issues.

Yep, I use Cox. I do not have the internet with them, just digital cable, Howard, DVR box and HD channels.

We have been having so many problems the last month. I had to take the box off my TV upstairs tonight because the channels were not coming in at all. The last month, you go through the channels and tons do not come in. When I get time this week, I am going to change out my box, because it is getting rediculous.

For real cable it's only cox but you can go with satelite like Direct Tv or Dish Network. Can't remember which one, but one makes you sign a contract for like a year in a half.
