How have the hard economic times affected the Las Vegas social scene?
Im going to be a student at UNLV in the spring and I don't know anyone in Las Vegas. I'm a little concerned about making friends and getting a girlfriend. Has the hard economic times affected the social scene in any way?
Thanks in advance guys.

Go to meetup.com and meet people that share your interests before you move here. There are hiking groups, bicycling groups, almost any subject you can think of. Check it out.
If you are an outgoing type of person, you will probably make friends easily.

I'm sorry I meant it has 1 bedroom. It has a bathroom kitchen living room laundry room and deck.
I'll get back with you on what area exactly. I know it's about 8 miles from UNLV.

Well, you could always go back and re-read all your previous posts. The answers haven't really changed. Seems you keep asking the same questions, didn't you like the answers the first bunch of times?
