Capistrano Village Condos..... (how much, buying, college)

This place is on the 6700 block of w. Charleston. I was looking at an REO there, and would appreciate any comments.

From what I know about that address, those are condo conversions. Older and close to the college. The area is ok, but iffy.
If you can, try to steer clear of condo conversions. They were a big thing in the boom years of 2005 and 2006, but now alot of them are being converted back to apts, since most are rented anyway.

Hi: did you buy here? I am now looking at buying a condo there, I would be interested to hear what you know about the condos and area? How much is the association fee?

I didn't buy there. I sent my realtor out to look, and she said she wouldn't live there. Try 89117.
I'm getting a bit leery of the conversions, too.

89117 is also full of condo conversions. Canyon Lake, The Enclaves, Park 1, Dolce, just to name a few.
