The game of life is hard to play,
I'm going to loose it anyway,
The loosin' card I'll someday lay;
So this is all I have to say...

That suicide is painless,
It brings on many changes
And I can take or leave it if I please.

On that note (literally)...Good Night Las Vegas.

Being a Vegas Resident for close to 10 years that has moved out of Vegas Jan of 2009, I can say that on the surface alot of what you are looking for can be found in Vegas in spades. I do however agree with alot of the other posts that Vegas can suck you up and eat you alive, it is not a place for everyone, as New York, LA or any other town for that manner. I did enjoy my first 4 years living in Vegas, from Age 21 to 25 then the lifestyle that are longing for gets old and the internal issue that you have been masking superficailly resurface again and hit you twice as hard as before, I am saying this from experience, I say have fun but also do not lose sight that personal issues (especially unresolved issues that span depression, have to be delt with directly, as one of the previous posters had stated) I look fondly back on Vegas and have few regrets and learned alot and I hope that you will be able to have a positive experience and learn what you really want in life, maybe Vegas is it, take care.

Vegas is too fun. No reason why anyone would want to kill themselves unless they had an actual medical problem which can easily be treated.

I really don't see a reason why anyone would want to kill themselves here b/c of the city itself or something external that has to do with the city.

For the minimum wage workers in this town, it's fun, fun, fun, 'til Daddy takes the T-bird away!

I'm not saying this is my last hope...but if for some reason las Vegas has changed and it is not fun and the girls have become ugly, and the restaurants aren't good anymore then that would be tough to swallow.
Dude, coming here on VACATION and LIVING here are two different things. If you live here "The Strip" gets OLD real fast. All these things, nightlife entertainment etc are all just distractions really... the summer here is miserable, finding work here is hard, people are transient and many women are shallow, you have a lot of people coming here thinking the streets are paved with gold and its far from the truth.. the Vegas you have in mind is just an illusion. I drive past the strip several times a week and get annoyed because ALL THESE PEOPLE ARE ON VACATION and I'M NOT... now THAT is depressing!!!

And remember this...how does the saying go? "Wherever you go, there you are"

You can be on vacation every weekend if you wanted to, too just like all the vacationers.
