Default Might be moving back-where to move with kids?

We moved from Vegas over 5yrs. ago and we didn't have kids then. Now, we may be moving back and things have really changed in all this time and I need to know what areas are the best as far as schools go. My daughter will be starting Kindergarten next year, so I want to make sure it is a good school she goes to. Thanks!

Buying/renting? Price range?

My immediate response is 89135 or 89074 if your budget allows. 2 or 3 of the best schools in the district reside in these areas. They are more expensive areas of town though. If the budget is a little more limited than these areas will allow, look into 89131/89143. Very good schools, more affordable accomodations. The neighborhood is very family friendly as well, particularly with the addition of the YMCA and the soon to be open library which will rival the large library in the Lakes. I personally live in 89131 and have direct experience with 2 different elementary schools in this area. I am more than happy with my child's education experience thus far.

Thanks. I will look into those. We will either rent a house or an apt. for a while and don't want to spend more than $1400 or so a month.

The most hilarious thing is that the house we owned before moving is for sale now. Too bad it is not in a great area. LOL

For 1400 a month you can rent a house in a good area. Message me if you want me to send you some info on some property management companies that have some good deals. I have a few friends that can help you out with rentals.
