I'm trying to loacate them, but having difficulty. Only if they let you search by location?

They do.

On the bar where you see "Log Out" and you'll see "Search" two places to the left. Click on that link.

Then click on "Advanced Search"

Type in "crime" in the "keyword" box

In the drop down menu in the bottom left of the page, it will show all the City-Data forums listed. Go to Nevada and highlight Las Vegas.

Click on the "Search Now" button and it should give you over 200 threads that discuss some aspect of crime in Las Vegas.

So:

Search > Advanced Search > Search by Keyword > Keyword(s) > Search in Forum(s) > Search Now
