Lex, the mob hasn't run Vegas for at least 30 years. Now, in your case, I'm sure they'll make an exception.
The real reason Vegas is called Sin City is that shrimp, lobster, crab, and all other forms of shellfish are banned in the Bible. You can be stoned for eating them.

Harumph. That's a double-wide trailer, how could you miss that?
OMG, just popped into my head cuz of the trailer scene in Swingers. Lexusman's idol has gotta be Vince Vaughn's character in Swingers. (Trent Walker, I believe.)
"You're money, baby, and you don't even know it."
"Let's go find us some beautiful babies."
3-day rule? Nah. I, for one, follow the 3-month rule. Any guy who's ever been too eager to call a girl had to cringe during the scene when Mike (Jon Favreau) goes all OCD & calls a girl an infinite # of times the night he meets her.
Maybe lex will get to 'double-down' with his whole bankroll ala Mike.
Great movie, but certainly not a mantra by which to live your life.

Stay where you are!!!!
Las Vegas is not a place for young people!!! Unless you like to be with a bunch of unemployed people, and people who are undocumented. There is a lot of crime, and accidents, and the city is losing a lot to that type of life. The School district is going broke, and lots of people are losing their jobs. Las Vegas is turning into a big ghetto, and the only thing alive is the Strip. What kind of life is that for someone coming here, all starry eyed thinking this place is paradise. Play it safe and VISIT first, before you throw your life away. Go down Fremont St. Charleston Blvd., Boulder Hwy, and REALLY look at the CITY and not just the Strip!!!! Take care, good luck, whatever you choose to do!!!

Why on earth would someone who claims to like Dylan pop up here with that kind of unmitigated garbage on a first post.
If you insist upon viewing Las Vegas from the view of a cockroach you will likely find it an unpleasant place. Perhaps you should change your view to something more rational.
Bob is sad...

a big benefit would be that you get to meet people from all over the place, housing is inexpensive (compared to many other states), it doesn't get too cold, just to name a few. living in las vegas is one of those places that you can either like or hate. it's what you make of it. good luck if you do end up moving here. it's not as bad as people think.

The above quote is true. Vegas has tons of unemployment. Do your research girl.
Without the tourist's money, Las Vegas is just sand in the desert. And we do not have any tourists due to the bad recession.
