We are relocating to Las Vegas. I'm concerned about services for our daughter who has Cerebral Palsy. How are services for the disabled? Will she be able to continue attending regular high school classes accompanied by an aide to her classes? Is the city handicapped accessible? How is Nevada when it comes to Medicaid? Thanks.

In your previous postings, you mention visiting Las Vegas twice. What were your observations?

Exactly. You have already gotten answers to your questions here. CCSD and Nevada public schools are in serious trouble with funding. If you have a child with a disability, you are taking a risk relocating at this time. Nevada has a low Medicaid match. Support staff in the schools are going to be cut further. You don't need to take that risk with your child.
