Can anyone help me with suggestions for a Vietnamese Restaurant here in Las Vegas? A friend who is Vietnamese from outside Vegas would like me to take him to a good place and I'm at a loss. Know plenty of Chinese and Thai places but not so sure about an authentice place for Vietnamese.

Phò Kim Long (no pun intended) on Spring Mtn and Wynn (I think it's Wynn) in Chinatown is very good.

That's the best place that I've tried. every place has a special item that they are good at. if you're into Pho than it would be pho saigon 8 on jones. if you're into the 7 course beef bamboo on durango and DI is great. Bosa on rainbow/ jones is known for their rice dices. Pho so 1 is okay but they have the best prices. hope that helps

Ever since Saigon on Sahara at Valley View closed I've been having withdrawal symptoms. I heard they moved it to another location under another name but I don't know where. They were the absolute best. I'll see if the person who told me about it knows where they are now. Their shrimp in a sizzling clay pot is fantastic.
