Default Local Casinos

Let's hear it from the locals!
Both Red Rock and Green Valley Ranch are nice local spots. The Orleans is more centralized and still a good locals place. You can also check out the South Point Casino on south Las Vegas Blvd.

Maybe they should just change their name to Bolly's.

I like the Orleans and the odd little Tuscany. I won lots in the Tusscany and they have a great players rewards program. Stations were ok too. I love Downtown as well.

I got yelled at at the Silverton while playing craps for doing something I do at every other table so I never go there anymore.
What is it that you do that you got yelled at for?

Doubt you'll find $1 craps anywhere. Terrible's in Primm has $2 (won $70 at a $2 table the last time we played there!), and Slots-A-Fun advertises $2 craps, but the last time we were there they only had a $5 table running.

I've seen this guy at The Silverton...first, he takes the dice and sets it so 11 is showing face-up. He then rubs the dice, clockwise, on the felt in 6-inch diameter circles exactly 3 times. He then rubs his left hand (palms-down), counter-clockwise, around the stationary dice in 12-inch diameter circles, also exactly 3 times. Then he taps the dice on the felt for exactly 2 taps, and circles them on the felt one last time in a clockwise direction. Finally, he throws the dice with a huge arc (achieving an amazing average of 5.4 seconds hangtime!) consistently bringing them down about 1 foot from the other side of the table, usually sending one (or both) die over the edge. He then declares "same dice" and repeats the whole process over again.

I've heard it said before, never get married to one casino anyway. More than likely one day they will get rid of your favorite game or trim a pay table or cut your monthly mailer. That's when you look for the better deal elsewhere.
