Default Jobs for felons in Las Vegas

I was reading some previous messages regarding folks who have hired construction workers in the past; they mentioned some of the folks had tattoos they specified were from prison. Be careful steriotyping people with tattoos. I know plenty of people with tattoos that you may think are from prison and these people have never been to prison. The art work is just that, art work. Also, many mentioned they were hispanic in heritage. It sounds like this is an issue with the people who put posts. Racism? I think so. I was looking for work for some felons due to the type of work I do; the ones I know are legitimately looking for work and not looking to commit crimes. They have families and broke the law due to substance abuse issues or fell upon hard times and were desperate for the easy way out, and got caught. I don't condone those behaviors, especially for the older ones, but they still need to work. Are there any companies in the Las Vegas area that hire those on parole or probation? I know in another state where I lived there were companies that had warehouses that did shipping and receiving for leather goods, etc., that had contracts with parole and probation? Please advise. Thanks.

Default Tattoos

Tattoos?

Depending on the tattoos that are being displayed, they should be scrutinized...regardless of what race they are. If they happen to be hispanic with Latin King, Northern, Southern, or MS13 tattoos...then why hire any of them? Ask them to modify them or cover them up.These individuals made a choice to display a message through their tattoos (A.K.A. artwork), and businesses don't have to agree with their message.

I'm black, but I would never hire any black guy with any gang or race promoting tats. Any gang oriented tats should be scrutinized. While on the subject of tats, how many gangbangers "don't" have tattoos? Answer --none! Let's not get too politically correct.PC kills people too.

There are consequences to everything, such as... felonies and stupid tattoos. Personally, I wouldn't hire anyone with a visible tat or a lip/nose/tongue piecrcing. Many other employers feel that way, and it's their right. Even Obama agreed with me on this issue.

oh there are tons of job here for felons but the legitimacy my be in question. I am sure that a pimp or drug dealer is a good career choice for you. Or you could even run for mayor. the one we have know was a mob lawyer in the 80's and he has done wonders for the city.
