Default Condo for 20,000 could it be??

In realtor.com there are 2 condos listing at 19,900. Complex is Adagio, 89128, buffalo and washington area. Could a condo really sell for that low, are these things selling for more than the asking price and if so what do you think those could sell for??

Condo conversion at the wrong time. Thought I think the $20K might be a mistake, you never know now. Didn't these go to auction or something last year?

Look at the year built...1996. First sale was in 2006. Condo conversion means it was an apartment building that is now condo. Usually when they convert they spruce the place up....granite etc.

Again anything is possible but pass the grain of salt. In that area the two least expensive sales in the last 3 months were for 65K and 87K. I would think it improbable but not impossible to see one sell at $20 or $30K.

Make an offer. Adagio at that price would be a very good deal. Don't hold your breath though.

Those units are being auctioned off through the end of the month. The "list" price is (was) the opening bid.

We looked at these this weekend, there were tons of people looking, they will auction this week, the realtor on duty says he thinks they will go for about 110-120k.

Wishful thinking unless they get people to get caught up in a bidding frenzy.
