That is the only reason we're going I don't think I'll have more than $150 to spend and I want to get my moneys worth!

$150 for 4 days? Make sure you eat a lot at the buffets the first 2 days because you may not have enough money to eat the next 2!

Try the Ellis Island steak special ($5.99) when you feel like eating out. It truly cannot be beat. It's not on the menu, so just ask for it.

Man, that's a REALLY tight budget gammerus.

I'd save all the money for food, you NEED to eat and restaurants are expensive here in Las Vegas. Stick to fast food and those $1 hot dogs and deep fried twinkies/oreos at Mermaids Casino on Fremont Street. Hey, you're on vacation so eat UN healthy for a few days and enjoy!

You'll find the food prices a bit lower in downtown/Fremont Street than on the Las Vegas Strip, so I'd save all the "big" meals for eating down there. I personally think the food is better there as opposed to the Strip places as well. Maybe cause' I'm an old timer, but when on a budget, that's what I would do.

Best thing to do is "window shopping", you can spend an awful amount of time each day at the Canal Shops (Venetian), Miracle Mile Shops and Desert Passage Shops (Planet Hollywood), Forum Shops (Caesars), the shops in the Stratosphere, plus it takes a lot of time going in and out of the casinos just plain sightseeing at each property!

Reserve just a few dollars for slot machine play, you'll regret that you didn't plop just a few dollars in a Las Vegas slot machine if you don't, but don't get carried away with that. And by a few dollars I mean $3 or $4 and play penny or nickel machines so the game will last a bit longer.

Make a budget out of that $150, know how much you can spend EVERY DAY and stick to it, no matter what.

Man, $8 a day for Binion's? How'd you get that? I live here and that would be worth it to me to check in to just have someone making my bed and cleaning my bathroom everyday!

Enjoy yourself and have a wonderful time!

I rarely spend more than $250 for any vacation we go on. We're both in college and money is tight, but we still like to go out and have fun.Besides, I have a ice chest that will hold more than enough food for both of us. The steak dinner sounds nice, but being a vegetarian I probably wont get as much out of the deal as my boyfriend will.
